I've recently installed levas's crop_rec build on my canon eos 6D, I'm pretty happy with the build but I've noticed using auto-iso on raw recording works fine, but as soon as I switch on any form of 1x1 or 1x3 crop rec it stops working, it pics a random iso like 1600, and it will only change when I change my shutter time or aperture.

has anyone else experienced this behaviour and if so does anyone have a fix?

just found out auto-iso works on 1x3, so it only doesn't work on 1x1  :)

I don't think automatic ISO works in RAW.

As described in the post you're replying to, it does work in raw.

The answer was found on Discord - it doesn't work on 5x crop, but this is a Canon thing not an ML thing.

Aha, I thought, the automatic ISO doesn't work gradually on all camera models.
Meaning if I turn the automatic ISO on my Canon 5D Mark III, then the gradual exposure...

For example 1 EV /16 frames definitely doesn't work gradually. If it would work, you would see a huge difference skipping each ISO speed stop?
