EOS 550 loose ML setting clear overlay - magiclantern-lua_fix.2020Dec28.5

Dear sirs,

i have a Canon EOS 550D where i use magiclantern-lua_fix.2020Dec28.550D109 to be able to do meeting call using che DSLR as webcam for more than 30 minutes;

i have the problem that the Camera, every time i switch off/on, loose the setting "clear overlay" and i have at least to enter the ML menu and exit to apply the setting again;

is there anything i could do so i can simply switch on the camera and use it without having to enter every time in the ML menu to apply "clear overlay" again?

Make sure you haven't write protect switch activated.
Set Clear Overlay setting.
Shutdown camera.
Startup camera.
Check setting.
