Hey everyone,
sorry to bother you with this question, but I just cannot figure it out, even after reading just about every post in this forum. (I am by no means an expert at this subject, so my apologies)
I am currently trying to use a Canon 5D Mark II, connected to my PC via HDMI, with a USB capture card, as a webcam for streams.
However, a persisting problem I have encountered is the shutter closing every 30 or so minutes. I have installed the experimental Lua_fix firmware, and activated sticky half-shutter, turned 30-minute limit off in both ML and Canon settings, all to no avail. One more thing to mention, is that in the submenu "Modules", "lua" says "Err". This could possibly be part of the problem, but I was unable to find exactly what it means, and how to fix it if needed.
I am a bit lost at this point, and any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Delete ML dir, delete autoexec.bin.
Copy extracted lua_fix build content to card.
Do not enable sticky half-shutter.
Do not load any modules.
Disable 30-minute timer in Prefs -> PowerSave in Liveview.

Test and report back.
