Problem Installing Magic Lantern on 5d II

Hello. I just downloaded the firmware. I followed every single step from the guide I try to update the firmware with magic lantern and the camera just turn off. I wait but nothing happen untill I take the battery out and reboot.
I tried different times but nothing. It just go all black and no button works.  Can't install Magic Lantern and I don't want to go ahead risking to demage the camera.
Anybody having the same issue ?

Make sure you have version 2.1.2 of the Canon firmware. If you do, try doing a firmware update using the Canon supplied firmware that is linked form the download page. There are different subversions why can cause compatibility conflicts.

I actually installed the 2.1.1 which is the one the Magic Lantern's guide suggests you to install giving a link to it.
It doesn't work.
Should I upgrade the firmware to 2.1.2 ?

Yes, you need 2.1.2 to run ML 2.3 on the 5D2, as stated on the download page.
