Sound for my 50D...

Hello to all,

I have installed ML on my 50D, and I now have a couple of questions that I am hopeful some of you can help me with.

I wish to record sound on the lockpicking videos I intend to make. Each video will be limited to 10 minutes, and I am happy with the quality of the test run videos I have made.

Can I ask; what is the best equipment you think I should use to record sound for my videos? Which programs do you suggest I use to link the videos and sounds together?
