Hey all, made a quick guide to those wishing to install magic lantern to the 7d. I have linked Dforts build in the description, as it is the most relevant version for me, 10 bit raw is working so well!

For some reason you are not using dfort's original zip but your card's content. Including your ROM files containing Canon IP. Which we won't allow to share in public because (in our opinion) this may violate Canon's IP.
Because I cannot edit your YT video I will delete the link to your video.

Understood, that's a shame!

Second note about ROM0.BIN and ROM1.BIN: For most cameras having those ROM dumps (backups!) may help debugging stalled/bricked cameras. It only makes sense to have *unique* dumps generated by the camera in use. But if you redistribute complete card contents including *your* ROM dumps ML routines will detect existence of ROM dumps and actually never dump cam's content.
Which defies the very idea why this routine exists.

But 7D is different. Kind of "ugly duckling" among ML cameras ... ROM dump may not be that useful. Emulation for this cam is not working and recovery may be messy. With or without unique ROM dumps.
