Lightning captured using Motion Detect and 550D

Captured using ML's Motion Detect exposure setting - value of 6 during the day.

Iso 200, f/5.6 , 1/80 second

I have been trying so hard to capture lightning the last few months using this method. We usually have awesome lightning shows here in TX, but once you go looking for it its nowhere to be found. Awesome pick though!!! Love the leads coming off of the main bolt.

Great result...I have not been lucky enuf yet to catch some good lightning. Had some medicore opportunities recently but either lightning was out of the frame or setting was not right for the situation. Typical.
