Trouble installing / screen flickering

Hi, I am having trouble installing ML. I have a Canon T3i.

My steps taken:
1. I formatted my SD card
2. I updated my firmware to 1.0.3
3. I tried to install ML and got an error.
4. I downloaded firmware 1.0.2 and installed it
5. I tried to install ML again and got an error. Now my screen is flickering permanently. In the firmware update screen background I can see the the 'update is complete' screen message.

6. I formatted my card and reinstalled Canon firmware. No more ghost message but screen still flickering slightly.

Make card bootable by using EOScard (Windows) or Macboot (MacOS). Copy/overwrite autoexec.bin with the one found here in "Portable display test".
Remove battery. Insert card. Insert battery and close battery compartment lid.
If nothing is shown or screen is unreadable -> remove battery.

Report results.
