keeping liveview on without it shutting down

Hello there,

I would like to record the liveview output of my 5dmkii, but I can't find an option to keep the liveview from shutting down after a minute or so. Is it possible? I've tried options like forcing liveview always but that only seem to work on camera startup.

nevermind that question, I believe making the halfshutter button sticky does the trick! now all I need is to keep the camera running on power indefinently!
