« on: April 03, 2018, 03:38:19 AM »
Hi,
I would like to share with you an small video I did over the past weekend, testing the 3.5k experimental builds:

Everything was shot handheld, in 3.5k, 23.976fps, lossless 14bit 12bit:
Canon 5D markIII
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
Lexar 1066x 64Gb

I hope you like it,
Thanks for watching.

Nice.
Were your shots continuous or did you get any skipped/black frames in your shots using the provided settings?
Canon 5D Mark IIIs | Ronin-M | Zeiss 50mm 1.4 planar | Zeiss 35mm 1.4 distagon  | Zeiss 24mm f2 distagon | Zeiss 85mm f1.4 planar
Dual sound system: Tascam DR-60d MKII | Audio Technica AT899 | Sennheiser MKE 600

Thanks Ibrahim!

All my shots were pretty much continuous, as far as I remember, but my takes were only about 10 to 15 seconds long, and with sound recording disabled.
I think that when I tried to record sound, the camera would stop recording after 10 or 15 seconds.
I didn't find any skipped or corrupted frames in any take...

thanks!

That's great results! How were the results in 24fps in case you have tried it?

Sorry for the late reply Ibrahim...

First, I have corrected my original post, because I was wrongly saying that I had shot a 14bit, when I actually shot a 12bit losless.

I only tried shooting with FPS overrride at  23,976, but I would assume that 24fps should give similar results.

thanks!
