Downgrade firmware and bupkus...

So yeah. First time Magic Lantern user. Seems lovely if I get it to work

I have read all the install guides, watched all the you tube guides so I am pretty sure Im not doing anything wrong. The thing is I have a Canon 6D, and the firmware I had before was 1.1.8 and I had to downgrade it to 1.1.6.

So I did that. Followed the install process, the camera registered the ML, booted it up, asked me to restart the camera, and then nothing, everything was the same as before.

I tried it again and the same thing... So what is the problem here? Could the firmware I got for 1.1.6 be malfunctioning? Is there somekind of known glitch if you downgrade and then try to install ML?

To be sure I wasn't doing anything wrong I dusted off my 550D and installed the ML, and it works exellent. So what now!?

Anyone? some advice?
