Throughout my experience with ML on my 60D I have always encountered one problem. Thats is, after a while of operation the aperture, shutter speed and ISO become 'frozen' meaning I cannot change the values. To solve the problem I have to re-instal the battery. I wondered if there was anything I can do to fix this rather annoying issue, Thanks.

Can't change the value through the ML menu or just like normal? Have you tried in manual mode?

I have the same problem. (500D)
Sometimes i can't change anything using the normal camera buttons. The ML menu is working but the srollwheel and the lens rings don#t do anything.
Manual mode or anything like auto doesn#t work.
Looks like all input is blocked besides the ML menu

For 60D: how to reproduce?
For 500D: if exposure override is on, this is normal.

I cant find anyway of reproducing the problem, its random. the settings for exposure in the ML menu are set to manual.

Just a shot in the dark here. But, I was having a similar problem in which the wheel on my 600D would not change the shutter speed. I found that "Shutter Lock" in the ML Movie menu was set "ON". Setting it to "OFF" fixed this for me.
