FRSP + Audio Triggering

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong with FRSP.

I'm using the latest Lua fix branch in the Experimental area.

I'm triggering the shutter via the ML Audio trigger, ie from the Radian 2 timelapse unit.

I've set FRSP to Full and DNG.

The first FRSP is taken and I see a message flashed up that I can't fully read, something about a long half shutter press.

Subsequent Audio triggers don't trigger the FRSP, in fact no picture taking.

Hope you can throw some light on this behaviour.

The audio trigger only works when the camera is "idle" (either in photo mode or in LiveView, with no Canon menu active).

FRSP leaves the camera in either the QuickReview + paused LV state, or in plain paused LV state (depending on preview settings), so those modes should probably be allowed for listening as well.

Thanks for the insight.

I think that means I'll wait and see if a 'tweak/fix' turns up.

To use an audio-trigger timelapse with FRSP is what I'm trying to set up.

Thank you. I went for a week, the other week, and it rained every day. I didn't see a sunrise and only saw one partial sunset. As you the northern lights: nothing.

But as it was my first trip to Iceland, I can't wait to get back there.

As for ML, virtually every image started with an ETTR exposure and many were dual-ISO.

It is really impressive to compare a dual-ISO + ETTR with the final list processed image, so I'll likely post a few examples on my big soon: photography.grayheron.net
