Hello all. I have been planning to install Magic Lantern for a while now on my 5D M3 (1.3.3), and have decided to downgrade from 1.3.3 to 1.1.3, since ML recommends 1.1.3. I had recently given it for service and it returned back with the firmware of 1.3.4, so my question being, is it safe to downgrade from 1.3.4 to 1.1.3?

Thanks in advance.

Yo, in the same situation. You ever get this figured out??

You do it with canon eos utilty. You can find firmware here.

I had the same problem...  I sent my camera to Canon with a letter explaining why you need a reversal of firmware (ML) and they set it back in perfect shape.

This is a time consuming and - for most people - expensive process. And unnecessary. There is not a single issue known to us where downgrade required Canon support.

It is rather difficult to find the firmware you're looking for on http://pel.hu/down/

I'd recommend going to http://pel.hu/eoscard/ and scrolling down to the Canon EOS DSLR original firmwares section.

Also heard there's an issue downgrading using newer versions of Canon's EOS Utility. Anyone experience this? Maybe people are using version 3.x that is shipping with the 5D4?
