50D and Magic Lantern - Documentary
« on: July 18, 2016, 04:58:14 PM »
Here's a little documentary I did for my artist friend about a group of artists out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Doc was shot with a Canon 50D in RAW mode. Audio was done with a shotgun mic. Syncing was done with a slate and synced manually in post.

Very nice shots, I particularly like the interviews and paint abstracts.

I guess he had to; no audio with RAW.

No audio in 50D at all.

Hi,

Is it possible to add an external mic to a Canon 50D to not sync the audio to the video later? I know there is not a mic jack but maybe another plug can be used?
