Magic Zoom and Canon Grid Display

I've just started making more use of Magic Zoom in photo-mode LV, ie non-video.

I have the latest nightly and 5D3.

It is noticeable that moving the MZ box 'randomly' erases the Canon grid.

Has anyone else noticed this?
