I'm just loaded the latest nightly and appear to have a fully locked in EOSM shutter bug problem.

Previously, I simply turned the EOSM off and on and this cleared the shutter for use.

It now seems locked in an frozen and unusable state.

Does anyone else have this issue?

You tried to backup ML/Settings and deleting directory contents after?

Since this bug can be reproduced with a minimal autoexec that only jumps to Canon firmware (a single ARM instruction, nothing else), I don't see how changing ML settings could help.

Look here for workarounds: https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/issues/1893/eos-m-shutter-bug

Thanks: I deleted all settings content and reloaded modules.

Shutter back to its 'usual' self, ie stuck but clearable. I don't know if this was a coincidence or not.

Problem now is the script that runs on my 5D3 (http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=14828.msg166115;topicseen#msg166115) doesn't run on my EOSM. I need to look at why and decide if it is me or the EOSM Lua version. I don't get an error, it just seems to not work correctly.

Plus why do we still have the 900 sec rule for 'trusted users'? I had to wait to post this reply :-(

Quick error checking looks as if the EOSM doesn't like the Lua lens.focus command.

The script that runs on the 5D3 appears to fail when the it is attempting to drive the lens to a new focus position, ie it takes the first image OK and seems to get into a loop when driving the EOSM lens.

The sd card is formatted, and reserves ML
There are chances of solving the shutter BUG

Before formatting, there DCIM \ EOSMISC \ M2101.CTG this file
After formatting is not
It is unclear whether it will affect

But the format is really helpful shutter BUG
