Converting raw file to dng launches but not performs

I have a 3,9 gb file which was at the end of the cf card ( 64 gb). I had a warning message but I thought is just about card ending (tragic huh to not read it?) and I supposed that even the card has stopped, the files should be there.
Well, when trying to convert to dng, the window launches for just to see is trying to open, but closes back very fast and the conversion isn't performed.

I did tried to add to the footer ( I don;t know which one is, where starts, maybe only this will solve the problem??) with a hex editor.

Could someone please tell me if I can save that file?
