CFL bulbs.. Where to get good ones, or a better alternative

Anyone got any good sources for great CFL bulbs? The ones I have now give a very green cast. Is this just characteristic of the bulbs? Does anyone have a better alternative in the same price range that isn't led?

good lights are costly, period. even good tungsten lights.

look for them is photography shops, they tend to have better ones, also research filters, if they are decent, you cam make them good with specific filters, like company LEE has CFL to tungsten conversion (minus green) filters and so on.

I understand that good lights are costly. I'm not looking for "cheap" lights. Just some damn good cfls if they exist. Sure, I don't want to spend $50+ on one bulb, but up to that point (maybe even slightly higher for a tried and tested GREAT CFL bulb) is worth it to me. I really just recently started looking to solve the problem of the green cast, and I'm finding that good lights are hard to find, and a lot of people settle with what is good enough for them and call something a great light. Maybe I'm asking this in the wrong place, but it seems there are a lot of very knowledgable people here in the ml community that could point me in the right direction.

just to simplify and clarify my post, I'm looking for one of two things:
1. Good/best daylight balanced CFL bulbs (color cast more important that light output)
2. A good relatively affordable alternative

Any and all help/advice is greatly appreciated

What I don't want to/ can't do is buy and try different options to find the best one

Those Kino Flo Bulbs work pretty well... I've used them on few paid gig's in a closed Studio for better lighting control.

They won't have enough intensity for much use outdoors during the day under the sun unless you plan on purchasing 12 or 24 packs in bundles?

@deafeyejedi I was literally just about to pull the trigger on those kino flos, but decided to see if I could find them cheaper than B&H (I couldn't) and I ended up finding that they aren't rated as flicker free. I'm assuming you, and the others who recommend these bulbs haven't had any issue with flicker, but why would they state that they aren't flicker free? Any thoughts?

Edit: B&H says they're flicker free  but another place says they are not
