Two blue vertical lines close to edge on 7D in Live View - how to remove?

Hi,

Am new to ML. Bought a 7D used today and it came with ML installed in camera and on card. Even if I follow the Unistall instruktions both for how to get it off the card and the camera, I still have what seems to be an overlay in Live View. I see two blue/green vertical lines, one on each side left/right close to the edges of the screen. How can I get these removed??

I tried change settings in ML to remove overlays Always but I can't seem to figure it out.

I have had several Eos cameras and have never seen this with Canon FW. Is this a ML left-over or a unique setting for the 7D?

If you can access ML menu ML is still installed.
Remove card, restore cam settings to factory default (including C.Fn) and retry (without card).

I had removed ML and could not access the ML menu. Re-installed ML (latest build) but still could not find anything that removed it.

However, the steps you listed did the trick.
