Hey guys,

Ive got an odd problem I'm not sure how to fix. The WB seems to have a mind of its own in the proresHQ .movs when I process my .raws with raw2dng.

This first photo is a dng in cameraraw on photoshop. When I bring in the dngs, they have tint at +66 and so I reset it to 0 to pull the magenta out. I also went -1 for exposure to regain a little info out the window. The photo beneath it is the same frame from the prores mov:

I know there are differences between the raw dng and the compressed prores, but thats not my issue. The issue is when you compare the prores screenshots to each other after the shift:

So again, exact same dng raw settings in the picture on the top and a screenshot of the prores file beneath that, post wb shift.

What is going on? I can share the actual video too if that helps.

Thanks.

Raw2dng when used with auto wb will produce non linear results which can lead to variations in wb. I fixed this and a lot of other things in cr2hdr-r.

...and that's the beauty of @danne's latest app cr2hdr-r with having the ability to use full control of wb!

Definitely worth to check out and play with...
