60D Error 70 help please!!

Hi, I was shooting pictures of my dogs playing in the river, when a thunder storm started and I got soaked! I tried hiding my camera under my shirt but it still got a bit damp. I took the battery out and left the camera to dry off for a few days, but whenever I try to switch it back on all I get is error 70! I have tried to start it in every mode but all I get is the error 70 screen. Can this be fixed or am I looking at a new camera? (not very technical, sorry but I am old!)

Hi a1ex,
sorry but how do I check for codes on the card? do I need to put the card into my laptop?
as stated I'm not very technical, sorry
