550D show "no card in camera" when insert Eye Fi card after uninstall

Hi, I installed ML v2.3 using a normal SD card on my 550D to do some time lapse shooting, it works great, then I want to use my eye fi card(Pro X2 8G, firmware 5.2010) so I uninstalled ML(by update firmware again and turn dial mode to set BOOTDSK flag false), inserted eye fi card and switched on, it said "no card in camera"

take eye fi card and battery out for 5 mins, inserted and switched on, same issue
tried normal SD card on 550D, works fine
tried eye fi card on another DC, works fine (including wireless function)
Anyone know how to fix this?

Top of page -> User Guide -> Installation Guide -> Last section.
Verify you deleted cam's bootflag: Use EOSdisk/Macboot to make a "normal" SD-card bootable and startup cam with this card. If cam gets stuck your cam's bootflag is enabled.

Hi, Walter,

I set a normal SD card bootable using EOScard, and inserted into 550d, startup with no problem, so BOOTDSK should be set to false correctly?
Any suggestions?

Try inserting a small piece of paper behind the card, to push it on the contacts. My 550D requires this trick with most cards, after all these years of abuse.

I don't think it has anything to do with ML.
