Cdng/DNG Preview in Microsoft Windows OS

I don't know if anyone has come across this before, I have the Full Cdng & DNG Preview in Windows Explorer Now  .
I was at the Adobe site downloading the DNG SDK kit to start to understand the DNG/Cdng structure
because I what to look at the possibility of Wrapping Cdng raw in a MXF container file with auto & metadata , proxy mp4  etc. ...... So on my quest to learn

What the hell never know able this before, Below are screen shot of my PC i7 Laptop on Windows 7.
The Top Window are the DNG's from mlv_dump And the bottom Window are Cdng's are from chmee's raw2cdng Ver. 1.6.5
Nice now I check out the images with out having to start any programs and easily find any bad frames or view your FRSP's .

One thing is curious thou the Camera metadata from mlv_dump is there but not from Raw2Cdng
Even thou it was a .mlv raw video file to begin with .
Anyways if this has been discovered before  ,  Will I Re-Discovery it

Regarding wrapping: I too thought about MXF wrapped DNG sequences.

So it turns out (based on the information I have gathered) that while it is stated in the CinemaDNG Image Data format Specification, the standard that defines these parameters is still somewhere in between the draft phase and release (SMTPE 379-2 and/or SMPTE ST 2055 I believe). Which is fine, as it should still be possible to create DNG MXF's.

Through some digging I was able to get my hands on a couple of actual DNG .MXF files, provided on the Adobe CinemaDNG labs page a couple of years ago (2011/2012) before being taken down. As far as I can tell no player, NLE, encoder or decoder can actually read these kinds of files. Maybe they're of use to someone else.

The long sample was created with "Adobe Systems Experimental CinemaDNG MXF Writer 0.10.804.0.5"
