t2i/550d battery drain and red flashing light

Hi all, I installed magic lantern tonight (v 2.3) and running it on my 64gb microSD card. After installing, I had the camera on standby (still on, but didn't touch it) and when I came back an hour or two later the battery, which was almost fully charged, was fully drained.

I noticed the processing/red light was blinking from time to time while on standby and not sure what it is processing but that may be likely draining it? What do I do to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

Old "stable" version? I don't think you will find a dev willing to debug this outdated version. Use nightly build instead and come back to us if there are any problems.

Yes, the stable version. I'm willing to try the nightly build, just seems like it would be a more common issue if it were a bug in the stable version.
