ffmpeg on Linux

So the ffmpeg developers have fixed the segfault bug after I reported it. Transcoding MLV does work now. However, I'm a bit irritated about the result. The image is very dark and greenish. If I push the levels up I get really bad banding. MLRawViewer shows the same file perfectly with no banding (but export doesn't work...)

the problem with RAW is, the colorspace is not sRGB, but some camera-specific.
honestly, i do not know why they do not transform the colors they get from debayering using the raw->XYZ matrix the MLV provides. (plus a XYZ->sRGB or ->CrCbY one)

at least the image looks as if one directly uses bayer RGGB values and puts them into sRGB
