Hello Forum!

I have some questions concerning the motion detect feature. Since the answers to these questions depend strongly on the camera lets assume a 6D or a 5D3.
1) How fast is the sampling time (Time delta between the two frames to be compared to each other for changes)? Read somewhere of about 1/30 sec aka 33ms?
2) Extending Question 1: Is there a way to influence/configure the sampling time? I am aware that there are CPU throughput limits that will limit the minimization of the sampling time. How short is possible? Has anybody done it before? Are there any risks (Overheating etc.)?
3) If a change is detected by motion detect - after which typical latency is the first shutter initiated (if the delay is set to 0ms).

Any help appreciated
