Just joining the forum in hopes to gain a better understanding of ML and whether or not it fits my needs. My daughter just got a t3i for Christmas and I own a 50d. She is more interested in video than I am and will most likely use ML but I am curious if it is worth it to put ML on my 50d if I am mostly into stills. I have a few questions/concerns...
1. I didn't see the t3i in the camera specific section of the forum. Am I missing something?
2. Do you think ML is worth putting on my 50d if I am new to video and do more still photography? I can always use my daughters :D
Thanks for any and all help.

ML is widely known for punching EOS cam's video capabilities but surely has something to offer for stills shooters. Auto-ETTR, dual-ISO, advanced bracketing, intervalometer, focus stacking, to name a few. Don't want to use my cams without ML and I'm a stills shooter, too.
But your daughter's cam has quite limited RAW/MLV video bandwidth. Just about 21 MByte/s. Your 50D however is able to use about 75 MByte/s.

1. We use the European designations Canon gives the cameras here, so T3i = 600D
