T2i HDCP

Hello everyone,
I'm planning on using the HDMI out from my T2i for some live streaming. I know this isn't recommended due to overheating and things of that nature, regardless, I'm going to use it. So I have two questions. Does the HDMI output of the t2i have an encrypted stream, or does it have HDCP? And also, does anyone know the resolution of the HDMI output. My TV reads it as 1080i, but I think I remember some peculiar resolution when I was doing some reading on ML.
