Hi, I have a 5d mark II.  I just formatted the card through the canon menu, and the malloc remains the same:

Are there any strategies to make this number go up, or is this just the limit of my camera?  I feel like it's capable of being faster than this.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Version/build used? Modules loaded?
And this is no speedometer ...

Sorry for not being more specific.  It's version 2.3.NEXT, with the RAW module. I'm very new to this.   :)

I'm just a little concerned because according to this chart, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgQ2MOkAZTFHdFFIcFp1d0R5TzVPTVJXOEVyUndteGc#gid=2, a mark ii should be around 200k.

"2.3.NEXT" is not a useful version number; for a long time, all of the nightly builds had that same string.  Do you know what date is attached to the build?  Given the icons and fonts, it looks to be at least a year old.  I recommend upgrading to a recent nightly build.
