50D sync audio and video

I shot some video and recorded audio with an external mic (usb connection to a laptop using Adobe Audition) and saved the .wav file. I've imported the video file and .wav file into Premiere Pro and haven't a clue how to start syncing them up. Is there something I can do when recording to make this easier?
