I'm trying to find a solution to fix a Lightroom 5.3. It's very slow and unusable with a lot of files to edit especially when I'm trying to right click on image and select some options. I've got hackintosh with OSX 10.9.3, 32GB Ram and ssd disk for system and Lightroom catalogs. It doesn't matter if I start with a fresh catalog or with catalog full of images. When I'm trying to right click on image it takes few seconds to respond with options. How should I debug this issue ?

I'd start by upgrading to the latest version (5.5, it's a free upgrade from 5.3), then if the problem persists work through the following:

You may also want to check you don't have any plugins installed that you think might be causing the problem (unlikely I think).

I disabled all plugins and everything works like a charm :)
