I'm confused about aettr. I have it configured like so:

Triggrer mode: SET
slowest shutter: 32
exposure target -0.5EV
highlight ignore: 0.1%
midtone snr limit 6EV
shadow snr limit 2EV
link to dual iso ON ( but dual iso disabled )

I am doing my tests on night shots. When i press the set button the camera begins computing aettr and i get the message "Exposure limit reached". After this my camera's exposure compensation gets set to +5. If i do take a shot the image is offcourse way over exposed. looks like a way overexposed mid day photo in the bright sun. even the shadows are overexposed. What am i doing wrong ?

Also when i press the set buttn multiple times the exposure compensation is increased multiple times. it's like it's computing aettr from the current exposure compensation value. Is this normal ?

You probably need to turn down or off the SNR limits
