So i'm shooting at 23.976 and I bring into Camera Raw, correct than open in AE. The file is now saying it's 30fps. when i put into a timeline and then render out it's 30fps and of course plays fast.

Thoughts? Is ML not recording at the appropriate frame rate? I'm trying to find out how to change it if for some reason i want to shoot at say 29.97 one day, but i haven't figured out how to do that.

In any event i'm not sure what's going on with the conversion along the way. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

AE has no automatic way to detect the framerate of raw video (it's just a bunch of DNGs), so it just uses a default -> 30fps. Right click on the footage and go to Interpret > Main and enter the correct framerate.

EDIT: you might be talking about h.264 with fps override. In this situation, AFAIK, ML does not change the framerate metadata in the mov container, so you'll also need to enter it manually, same as above.
