I am about to try some methods with Magic Lantern to do the equivalent of Bulb Ramping; however, the current version of ML for the 6D does not seem to have ETTR in the package.  I am going to try to use the linear exposure ramping function to produce a time lapse of the sunset from about an hour before sunset to an hour after sunset.  Does anyone have any recommendations for the ramp rate that might fit this attempt?  Also, it sounds as if ML bases the exposure ramping from a combination of aperture changes and ISO changes.  If I use a lens that has no electrical connection to the camera will it just try to adjust the ISO or will it behave in an unexpected manner?

Modules tab -> ETTR.MO
You have to load this module first.
