Hi everyone,

Just joined and what a great forum.
I have a new canon 6D and took it for its first spin the other day.

With a sandisk sdhc 32gb 30mbs write speed card ( new) in it, and a canon 100-400, shooting JPEG only I was only getting 4/5 pictures before 'busy' came up and it needed to buffer for 3-4 seconds.

I had wi if turned off, and gps turned on.

I was using AV mode, and 350 second at around F10/11

So, any ideas why it was so slow? And suggestions or cures?

Cheers
Dave

If you have a decent USB 3.0 cardreader connect to your computer's USB 3.0 port you can run benchmark tests ATTO and CrystalDiskMark.
If not: Install ML and run card benchmark test.
