New to ML some questions about temperature

Hi all, I am trying to figure out my 5D MKIIs max raw capabilities for a couple of CF cards I have one is a 600x that I can sustained record 2.35:1 at 1536X654.  The other is an 800x that I can sustained record 2:35:1 at 1728X736.  I can see that the faster the card the larger the frame size but am wondering if there are diminishing returns with higher speed cards.  I am seeing the temperature jump from 30C  to 52C very quickly when doing longer records and am wondering what the cut off point for temperature is for camera protection and if running larger frame sizes pushes the temperature out of range faster even on the faster CF cards.  I appreciate the developers and ML community for a new boost of excitement in a camera which was for sale... now I'm not so sure

Ok, I found some good info on the forum and it looks like the camera will protect itself. Now my next issue is sorting out the color problems in my mlv RAW files.
