Hi,
Newbie here and with ML.
A landscaper, with 5d2, mooting to replace with a Sony A7r, just for MP and few other ++ for enlarging, readying myself to take the inconveniences with Adapters, wild mix of lenses etc.

Somebody advised, better go with ML on my 5d2, but others say ML has nothing to do for still shots and landscapes, but only for video.

Please share, especially landscape pioneers...

If you are interested in the A7r for its megapixel count it is something ML can most certainly not provide you with, other then that ML offers tons of features for photography; also for landscapes specifically: advanced bracketing, bulb timer, dual ISO, RAW histogram, auto ETTR just to name a few, to my knowledge the A7r can do non of those things...

I have an IR converted 50D and a 5DIII.

I never use video, I am a photographer.

I find the auto-ETTR and the auto-bracketing the invaluable tools I use.

I also use CeroNoice, but this isn't really ML. But it does need a few tweaks to really make it a great 32-bit post processing tool.

I write about ML here http://photography.grayheron.net
