File Failed to Save?

Apparently I reached the end of a 32gb and, instead of cutting me off, an error appeared and a .DAT file was created along with a 0b .mov file of the same name. The .DAT file is 1.4gb, but even when the extension is changed to .mov, it does not work. There was an error message on the screen, though I don't remember exactly what it said. Am I out of luck here?

60D, running ML 2.3.
Perhaps it's worth noting that the camera would not function until I reinserted the same SD card. Red light blinked until I did.
