Maybe I just don't know where to look, but I can't find anything to explain how the waveform monitor works. I see a magenta line in the middle, and two blue lines top and bottom. What do the lines actually mean. Should I be setting my brightest exposure to the top of the blue line? What is the magenta line for. I'm used to a traditional waveform monitor where I can clearly see percentage lines from 0 to 100.

Also, when I superimpose the menus so that I can watch the effect of aperture and ISO on the waveform monitor, the top blue line goes away. Comes back as soon as I switch back to the normal view with no transparent overlay.

Canon T4i  Everything else in Magic Lantern works just fine

If this is documented somewhere, please let me know.

Is there no one out there who can help me with this?
