Menu overlay in live view

I've seen videos where people can see the ML menus over the top of the live view screen so they can see the changes while change things like color temperature and expose. When I push the trash key, I go to the menu screen, but I can't get it to overlay the live view.

Is this possible with a T4i/650D?

Global draw is on. Pressing Zoom In in Live View does nothing.

Frank7D means that you press Zoom in while ML menu is activated.
