@BestLittleStudio I PM'd you and haven't filed a bug report yet but it looks similar to something that was discussed before:
http://magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=11056.msg151675#msg151675Note--this only affects Canon 70D dual iso. What I discovered isn't quite what was discussed before and it has to do with Adobe products so maybe we should continue to deal with it in this topic because we're relying on Lightroom to open the files.
So here's what I discovered, which is something different than what BestLittleStudio reported.
If you convert to DNG on import and run cr2hdr on the DNG files the converted *-dualiso.DNG files will not be rendered properly in Lightroom.
If you import without converting to DNG and run cr2hdr on the CR2 the converted *-dualiso.DNG is rendered fine in Lightroom.
I ran this on a few different 70D files and also using Adobe DNG Converter and every time if the original CR2 file is converted to DNG then processed through cr2hdr it will not open up in an Adobe app. I suppose they are all using Adobe Camera Raw and I just updated to the latest ACR 9.3.1.
Now for the strange part--it opens up fine in RawTherapee and dcraw. Haven't tried it on other camera raw apps.
Anyone else confirm this? Maybe someone on Windows?
