Here is the benchmark from ML in-camera ( EOS-M )

Is this normal for a card advertised as 90 R / 60 W ?

Walter Schulz

Doesn't have much to do with the advertised rate because EOS-M's card interface is limited to about 40 MByte/s.

Ohhh ... cool, so i can shoot RAW if I am close to max SD speed ?

Walter Schulz

?
Looks like a question but I'm lost guessing what actually is asked.

Midphase

I think he's asking if the card speed is enough to shoot raw with.

The answer is yes, but you will need to drop the resolution low enough to write the data fast enough, which means pretty low.

Walter Schulz

He may shoot RAW with any card, then ... <eg>
