5d3, SDHC 16gb card, EOS utility - ML doesn't boot

Hi guys,

I have a 5d3 and I've used the EOS disk utility to install Magic Lantern on a 16gb SDHC card - everything seems to have worked so far. However, I popped it into the camera and switched on - but I get nothing - the camera just switches on as normal with the Canon firmware.

If I try to update the firmware from the Canon menu, it says the firmware can't be found and hangs until I take the battery out.

Am I doing something wrong?
