When I use FPS override for 5d Mark II (at low fps, 2 or lower), it does not work properly with MLV video as frame number 2 is repetated every other time during the recording. I've searched in the forums and found two answers: a) do not use 10x zoom (which I do not), b) reinstall ML.

Should I just reinstall? I'm using nightly build from January 14, 2014. Which nightly build is working pretty much stable? Thanks

You can't really "reinstall" ML since it's not actually installed, it just runs off the card.

Good question. Try all of them and tell us, we don't know. If we knew that they were stable, we wouldn't call them nightly builds would we?

The best course of action is to:
Update to the most recent nightly and see if the problem is still there.
If it is, search for any similar duplicate bugs. If none exist, submit a bug report with as much detail as you can about how to reproduce the error. Include ML version, camera, video/screenshots etc.
If you provide enough quality information and the bug is reproducable, it will likely get fixed very quickly.

For what it's worth, this bug has already been reported and is apparently specific to the 5D2:
