550D/t2i and 50/60fps question
« on: June 25, 2014, 12:22:33 PM »
What is the maximum resolution and time that you can record 50 or 60 fps on the Canon 550D/t2i with a card that can write/read 95mb/s?

50/60fps records at 1280x720.

But I'm going to guess you mean RAW video.
your 95mb/s card will have no effect as 550D caps at 21mb/s.
RAW video at 50/60 can be recorded at a res of 1728x694 with a 1.67x animorphic squeeze.

1728x694 isn't continuous though.
You usually need to experiment to find the right resolution at your preferred aspect ratio,
to find something that records for longer than 1 second.
