Help please. Struggling to add ML to another card.

Hey. Basically I've been using ML on two of my SD cards, both 16gb, and recently one of them has stopped working. I put it in the camera last night and it wouldn't turn on, took it out again and it took about 2minutes for the camera to start up again. The other SD card with ML on was working fine, the camera started up and shut down as normal. I did a format on the one not working and put all new files on it but ML will not work on the camera. It starts up and I can use the camera, but ML will not function, again it works fine with my other SD and I can use ML like normal.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm using a 550D.

Forget about this thread, I managed to sort it. I just ran the new firmware option in camera and it solved it. I don't know why I had to do this but at least it's working again.

It didn't work because the card has to be marked "bootable" for ML to be loaded. The installation .fir does this for you and also there are programs for the computer you can do this with (eoscard and macboot)
