Hi Guys,
new user here. I own a Mark 3, which I switched back to version 1.1.3.

I tried installing ML using a 16gb SDHC. I made it bootable with macboot.

I downloaded the latest build (http://builds.magiclantern.fm/#/), in order to have and SD holding the ML folder, the .bin file and the 1.1.3 .fir.

When installing, the camera attempts to localize FONTS.DAT and fails. Yes, I've read this user's entry - http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=9976.0 - but I think I downloaded the correct version, or am I mistaken?

After communicating that FONTS.DAT has not been found, the camera completes the installation. On resetting the camera I found ML, but the modules submenu is missing, as anything relating to raw video (my main reason for downloading ML).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Henry

If you cannot find modules menu, then you have not set the camera bootflag.

Installing ML can be summarized in three steps, keep this in mind in case you are getting lost in the process!

1. You need to set the bootflag in your camera.  Only for 5D3 this cannot be undone so read here:
http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=7125.0

2. You need to make your SD card (or CF for some cameras) bootable with EOScard

3. Only then you can use the nightly builds.

Follow the steps here:

I was able to get it to work by copying the FONTS.DAT file from another place. But this was the EOS-M version.
