False color reference bar on liveview

Is it possible to add a false color reference bar on the sides or some place on live view like in this picture?

You could make one using cropmarks. I know that's not what you're asking, but if you're desperate in the meantime.

Colours do work, but you have to use a colour map.
In addition it has to be the colour map from the camera.

An easy clean way to get this is to use "screenshot" in the camera.
Take a random screenshot (maybe of live view to kill two birds with one stone, this way you will know where the crop is of stuff).
Then using something like gimp, pop up the colour map for that image, and see where all the colours are located.
