Hi, I just installed ML with my 60D, and I just had some questions about it.
#1 I know during install I couldn't use a third party battery, but now that it is installed can I use one?
#2 How do you change the shooting resolution in ML or can it be done?
#3 Are there an other codecs other than RAW and H.264 that ML shoots in?

Thanks,
Bear

The suggestion for using a fully charged original Canon battery for running the firmware update is to minimize the chance of something very bad happening to your camera. Once that is done it shouldn't hurt playing around with other batteries, I've had good luck with third party batteries.

#2
Yes, you can do it in the ML menus as well as in the Canon menus. Check the manuals.

#3
Let's see there's Canon's camera RAW and JPEG for still photography and Magic Lantern RAW and H.264 for video. That's all I'm aware of in camera.
